August Reitmayr (born January 29, 1802 in Rohr in Niederbayern , † April 9, 1874 in Munich ) was a German judge and politician.

Life

Reitmayr was a son of the judge Anton Reitmayr . From 1819 he studied law at the University of Landshut , where he became a member of the Corps Isaria . After completing his studies he became a trainee lawyer in Landshut in 1824 , in 1826 as an accessist at the city court, in 1827 at the appellate court of the Isarkkreis in Landshut, in 1833 at the council clerk at the district and city court, in 1839 as a district and city judge and in 1844 as a district and city judge in Regensburg . From 1845 he was also a councilor at the exchange and mercantile court for the Upper Palatinate and Regensburg. In 1852 he was appointed judge of appeal in Neuburg an der Donau , and in 1856 judge of appeal in Munich.

From May 18, 1848 to May 17, 1849 Reitmayr was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly ( Württemberger Hof , Augsburger Hof ). Unlike his corps brother Anton von Nagel zu Aichberg , he voted for the election of Friedrich Wilhelm IV. As Emperor of the Germans.
