Axel Bärendorf (* 1957 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( non-party ). He was the full-time mayor of the Schleswig-Holstein city ​​of Reinbek .

Life

Axel Bärendorf attended the Am Reesenbüttel primary school and then the Alfred Rust School in Ahrensburg (now renamed Selma-Lagerlöf Community School). In 1980 he graduated as an administrative specialist at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Services in Altenholz . Mayor's office

In 2001 he was elected mayor of the municipality of Ammersbek . In the first round of the first direct mayor election in Ammersbek, he prevailed against an SPD candidate with 59.9 percent of the vote . He held the office until 2008. Shortly after his last election as mayor of Ammersbeks, he ran as a non-party candidate for the mayor's office in Reinbek at the suggestion of the CDU .
