history
The village was first mentioned in a document on August 23, 1352. Aylsdorf was also spelled Ailsdorf earlier . The village was parish to Aue and belonged to the Zeitz office . In 1822, 141 inhabitants lived in 25 houses in the village, who had belonged to the Prussian district of Zeitz since 1816 and previously to the Saxon Zeitz office . The local area of Aylsdorf is closely related to that of Aue, which is why both places were popularly known as Langenaue in the past .
On July 1, 1950 the incorporation took place after Zeitz.
