The steam locomotive series kkStB 47 was a freight train - Tender Locomotive series of kkStB , originally from the Empress Elisabeth Railway came (KEB).
history
The total of 69 locomotives were delivered from Sigl in Vienna , from Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik , from the Lokomotivfabrik of StEG and from Krauss in Linz from 1867 to 1884 to KEB (row IV ) and in some cases directly to kkStB (row 47 ). In the course of their existence, the machines were equipped with different types of boilers (see table).
After the First World War , machines of this series came to the railways of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and to the PKP , where they did not have their own series number, further to the FS as series 222 . The BBÖ still received 50 copies, which were mainly used in shunting.
After joining the German Reich in 1938, the Reichsbahn took over three more pieces as 53.7101–03.
These three machines were still in the ÖBB's inventory in 1953 and were not taken out of service until 1958.
