Bachtygul Samalykova ( Kazakh Бахтыгуль Самалыкова , English transcription : Bakhtygul Samalikova, born March 20, 1993 in Aktau ) is a Kazakh beach volleyball player .

Career

Samalykowa played her first international tournament in 2007 at the Vaduz Satellite with Irina Kochan . At the Phuket Open, she and Marina Pilipenko took part in a FIVB World Tour tournament for the first time . Until 2011, Samalykowa / Pilipenko played together in the world series, without getting beyond double-digit results. In 2009 they competed at the U19 World Cup in Alanya and finished in 29th place. The next year Samalykowa completed this junior tournament in Porto with Lyubow Bogatu and achieved the same result, as well as at the subsequent U21 World Cup in Alanya with Pilipenko. In 2011 Samalykowa with Bogatu was fifth in the U19 World Cup in Umag and ninth in the U21 competition in Halifax . In 2012 Samalykowa / Bogatu played a Challenger tournament in Seoul and took 25th place at the U21 World Cup, which was again held in Halifax. In 2013 they finished ninth in two continental tournaments in Thailand before winning the bronze medal at the Asian U21 championship in Songkhla . At the U21 World Cup in Umag, they came in ninth again.

Samalykowa played her first Grand Slam in Xiamen at the end of 2013 with her new partner Alexandra Warassowa . The duo finished ninth in the Asian Championship. This was the result of two AVC tournaments at the beginning of 2014 . The open tournaments in Fuzhou , Prague and Anapa on the World Tour , however, were less successful. After another ninth place in the Asian championship, Samalykowa / Warassowa reached 25th place at the U23 World Cup in Mysłowice . At the end of the year Samalykowa played with Jekaterina Lassyuta in an AVC tournament and the Pattaya Challenger. In September 2015 she completed the Sochi Open with Anna Leferenko before she was back on the field with Lassyuta for some Asian tournaments and the Antalya Open. At the beginning of the World Tour 2016, Samalykowa / Lassyuta were eliminated early on at the Maceió Open and the Grand Slam in Rio de Janeiro before finishing ninth in the Asian Cup.

In 2017 Samalykowa formed a new duo with Tatiana Maschkowa . Initially, Maschkowa / Samalykowa achieved some top five results in Asian tournaments and won a tournament in Vietnam . On the World Tour 2017 they took 33rd place in The Hague (three-star tournament) and Gstaad (five stars) and 17th place in Olsztyn (four stars). They qualified for the 2017 World Cup in Vienna via the AVC preliminary decision .
