Jana assumes that Christelle wants to discredit Fenger by discovering the falsification of the balance sheet, which he unknowingly approved , so that she can become the new investment boss. Jana refuses to give Christelle the documents because publication would do much more damage than just discredit Fenger. Jana has sympathies for Fenger.

Christelle's henchman calls the Silver Mountain Hedge Fund and asks very directly whether Silver Mountain is a subsidiary of Deutsche Global Invest. When Sydow, the CFO of Deutsche Global Invest, heard about it, he was very worried because it seemed that someone knew about the falsification of the balance sheet.

She tells him that Christelle wants the information from her and that Deutsche Global Invest and Crédit International are preparing a merger.

Luc reveals to Jana that it wasn't him who caused her to resign. Jana suspects that it must be Christelle who initiated her termination in order to smuggle her from Crédit International to Deutsche Global Invest.

Jana tells him that she still wants to successfully complete the project and can convince Luc to work enthusiastically.

Fenger speaks with Khano, CEO of Deutsche Global Invest, about the merger. Fenger reveals his disappointment with the merger negotiations that are going on behind his back. He calls on Fenger to support the merger 100 percent and to dismiss Jana and Luc after its successful conclusion.
