The list contains the train stations in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district .
Geographical and topographical location
Parts of Altmühlfranken and the Franconian Lake District belong to the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district . The district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen shares the upper Altmühltal with its side valleys and the Franconian Lake District with the districts of Ansbach and Roth . The area is located in the south of the Bavarian administrative district of Middle Franconia . The topography shows further valley sections (Altmühl-, Rezattal) and also has the character of low mountain ranges (Mönchswald, Hahnenkamm and Jura). The railway lines south of Ansbach and south of Treuchtlingen have considerable gradients, for which ramps, openings, bridges and tunnels were created.
