The Leiden Lammenschans railway station is a railway station in the southern Dutch city of Leiden , located on the railway line Woerden-suffering . It is frequented by 4591 people every day (2018).
history
The high-altitude station is based on a design by the architect Koenraad van der Gaast . It opened on May 18, 1961. The station is mainly used by commuters and students from the regional education institute ROC Leiden. In the first decades of operation there was a ticket office and a waiting room in the train station. His area was rented to a snack bar operator by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen . In the meantime, tickets can be purchased at ticket machines. The station has a platform.
