The train station Spaichingen is a train station at the today Gäubahn (Stuttgart-Singen) . It was inaugurated on July 15, 1869 with the opening of the Rottweil - Tuttlingen section as a continuation of the Upper Neckar Valley Railway ( Stuttgart - Plochingen - Tübingen - Horb , later to Rottweil). On May 28, 1928, Spaichingen became a junction, the Heubergbahn to Reichenbach (Heuberg) was inaugurated 15 years after the groundbreaking and connected Heuberg , which was still little developed at the time, with the then Oberamtsstadt until its closure in 1966 . The station is located on the southern edge of Spaichingen at 676 m above sea level. NHN . It is located near Spaichinger Hauptstrasse, Bundesstrasse 14 . Spaichingen has three platform tracks for passenger traffic . In 1957 the station staff consisted of 19 people; today the station is unoccupied. Originally the station was 445 meters long and up to 74 meters wide. The facility included an administration building and a goods shed , which was used as such until 1976 and demolished in 2011.

Spaichingen is only of regional importance. The regional express from Stuttgart to Singen stops here . Spaichingen is also served by the Ringzug , which connects the city with Bräunlingen via Rottweil, Villingen and Donaueschingen. In the opposite direction, the Swiss border can be reached via Tuttlingen Immendingen and the Blumberg-Zollhaus.

Intercity has been running every hour on the Gäubahn since December 2017 . Spaichingen is served by intercity trains every two hours, which replaced the previous regional express service from Stuttgart – Singen (see IC line 87 ).
