The Uitgeest train station is on the western edge of the Dutch city of Uitgeest . The station is used by 4987 people every day (2018). It is a central hub in urban public transport . National regional trains run at the station.
history
The station was opened on May 1, 1867 with the Alkmaar -Uitgeest section of the Nieuwediep-Amsterdam railway line. At the same time the connection to Haarlem was opened. The station was completely rebuilt in 2006.
