The Bahnkolk Upgant-Schott is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon community Upgant-Schott in the joint community of Brookmerland in the Aurich district .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG WE 117 is 8.7 hectares in size. It consists of a lake created by sand mining at the beginning of the First World War and the adjacent bank areas. The area is located west of Marienhafe directly on the Rheine – Norddeich Mole railway line .
The area has been a nature reserve since July 3, 1973. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Aurich.
