The Groen Breike is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Südbrookmerland and Ihlow in the Aurich district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG WE 134 is 55  hectares . It is completely part of the EU bird sanctuary "East Frisian Sea". It is located southwest of Südbrookmerland in the area of ​​the Breike and Groen Breike waters in a depression with a silting fen lake. Most of the depression is below sea level. The surrounding grassland is used extensively as litter meadows .

The area has been a nature reserve since December 24, 1982. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Aurich.
