The Flumm-Niederung is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon community of Großefehn in the Aurich district .
The nature reserve with the registration number NSG WE 224 is 365 hectares in size. Most of it is part of the FFH area “Fehntjer Tief und Umgebung” and the EU bird sanctuary “Fehntjer Tief”. In the west it borders on the nature reserves " Fehntjer Tief-Nord " and " Feuchtgebiet Westgroßefehn ".
The nature reserve lies north of Westgroßefehn and Mittegroßefehn . It is bordered by Bundesstraße 72 to the east and Landesstraße 14 to the west. The wet meadows in the lowland through which the Geestbach Flumm flows are predominantly used extensively for agriculture. The area has been a nature reserve since July 8, 1995. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Aurich.
