Station Distelhausen is a living space on the eponymous breakpoint , formerly Station Distelhausen the railway Lauda-Wertheim within the boundaries of the Tauberbischofsheimer district Distelhausen in Main-Tauber-Kreis in Franconia dominated northeastern Baden-Wuerttemberg .
geography
Distelhausen railway station is about 400 meters west of the town of Distelhausen on the Lauda – Wertheim railway line on the left edge of the Taubertal . The living space is on the Taubertal Cycle Path and can be reached via Wolfgangstraße .
history
On the table sheet No. 6424 "Königshofen" from 1881 the place was recorded as a station . The living space came to the town of Tauberbischofsheim on January 1st, 1975 as part of the formerly independent community of Distelhausen.
Cultural monuments
The reception building of the former Distelhausen train station is a listed building . There are also other small monuments not far from the train station, for example a wayside shrine on the street in front of the building or the nearby Wolfgang chapel at the Distelhäuser cemetery with an open-air cross in the cemetery wall.
