The railway Inowrocław Drawski Młyn (Hohensalza-Dratzigmühle) is a mostly no more traction line in the Polish provinces Kujawy and Wielkopolska .

course

Line 206 begins at the Inowrocław ( Inowrazlaw / Hohensalza ) Rąbinek station on the coal mainline and runs from there, single-track, only operated in freight traffic and electrified, to the Dziarnowo junction on the Poznań – Toruń railway line . From there it runs, not electrified, via the small town Pakość ( Pakosch ) to Wapienno , where goods traffic stops. Down now the route via the town Barcin ( Bart Shin ) - end point of the railway line Mogilno-Barcin - the county Żnin ( Znin / Unterdietfurt ) - the beginning of the railway Żnin-Szubin - and Damasławek ( Elsenau ) on the railway line Oleśnica-Chojnice by the district center Wągrowiec ( Wongrowitz / Eichenbrück ) on the Poznań – Bydgoszcz railway line .

From here the route is now number 236. It runs impassable to the small town of Rogoźno ( Rogasen ); from there it is operated in freight traffic to Bzowo Goraj ( Sagen-Goray / Sagen ) - the beginning of the Bzowo Goraj – Piła railway line , while the rest of the route to Drawski Młyn ( Dratzigmühle ) on the Poznań – Szczecin railway line is closed and impassable.

Between Inowrocław Rąbinek and the Dziarnowo junction on the Poznań – Toruń railway line , the maximum speed is one hundred kilometers per hour (freight trains: fifty), to Wapienno sixty (freight trains: forty), then just over one kilometer ten; thereafter the route to Rogoźno Wielkopolskie is impassable, after which it can be driven at a top speed of thirty kilometers per hour.

history

The branch line was opened by the Prussian State Railways in three sections: On December 1, 1888 the central section between Wongrowitz and Rogasen , on June 1, 1889 the eastern section between Inowrazlaw and Wongrowitz, and on October 1, 1896 the western section between Rogasen and Dratzigmühle .

The 1914 summer timetable saw five pairs of trains coming from Schneidemühl, three pairs of trains Hohensalza – Sagen-Goray, one Wongrowitz – Sagen-Goray, one Hohensalza – Znin, a Sunday and festive Wongrowitz – Friemark and a single train from Rogasen– between Sagen-Goray and Dratzigmühle. Wongrowitz in front.

After the First World War , the route came to Poland.

At Inowrocław the route was then rerouted.

In 1976, with the electrification of the Poznań – Toruń railway between Poznań and Inowrocław, the branch from Dziarnowo to Inowrocław Rąbinek was electrified.

In 1991, passenger traffic on the central part between Wągrowiec and Rogoźno was stopped, and in 1993 on the western part between Rogoźno and Drawski Młyn. On the section demnin – Wągrowiec the passenger traffic was stopped, on the rest (Żnin – Inowrocław) it continued until 2004.

Freight traffic was gradually discontinued on most of the route from the mid-1990s: First, goods traffic between Damasławek and Rogoźno was discontinued in 1994, from Damasławek to Żnin in 1999, on the western part between Krucz and Drawski Młyn in 2000, and from Krucz to in 2004 Bzowo Goraj. In the eastern part, freight traffic was shortened to Barcin in 2011 and to Wapienno in 2014, meaning that freight traffic only takes place between Inowrocław and Wapienno and between Rogoźno and Bzowo Goraj.

The Wągrowiec – Rogoźno line was open to traffic again in 2010, freight traffic was back in March 2011, and passenger traffic from June. Traffic was stopped again in March 2012.

The Wągrowiec – Rogoźno section is to be reactivated for freight traffic in May 2018.
