Drawski Młyn ( German Dratzigmühle ) is a village in the rural municipality of Drawsko ( Dratzig ) in the powiat Czarnkowsko-Trzcianecki ( Czarnikau-Schönlanke ) in the Polish Voivodeship of Greater Poland .
Geographical location
Drawski Młyn is located in the northwest of the Wielkopolska Region, about 100 kilometers northwest of the voivodship poses ( Poznań ).
history
In 1854 a foundry was established in Drawski Młyn, which still exists today. There has been a school in Drawski Młyn since 1911. After the First World War , the place and the Filehne district became part of Poland.
church
Initially Drawski Młyn belonged to the parish Wieleń . At the beginning of the 20th century a parish was founded in Drawsko , to which Drawski Młyn was also assigned. From 1972 there were plans to build a second church in Drawski Młyn. Construction of the church was approved in 1981 and began in 1985, the building was completed in 1991 and consecrated by the Poznan Auxiliary Bishop Stanisław Napierała in the same year .
traffic
The DW 181 , which connects Drezdenko ( Driesen ) in the Lebus Voivodeship with Wieleń ( Filehne ), runs through the village . Drawski Młyn is also home to the Drawsko Municipality's only train station on the Poznań – Szczecin railway line . In addition, the Inowrocław – Drawski Młyn line to Inowrocław ( Hohensalza ) branched off in Drawski Młyn , which is now partially closed, and the section to Drawski Młyn is no longer used.
