The Nemšová – Lednické Rovne railway is a branch line in Slovakia . It leads from Nemšová to Lednické Rovne .
history
The line was opened on October 25, 1910. Currently, there is only demand-based freight traffic. Passenger traffic was discontinued on February 2, 2003 at the same time as other Slovak regional routes. Finally, the perverse Czech railcars of series 830 and 850, which in Trenčianska Teplá were stationed. The 850 series was only used in the morning hours at the weekend. As far as Nemšová, the trains were partly run together with those towards the Czech Republic. The timetables were well coordinated with the main Bratislava – Žilina line . The travel times were attractive and would still be competitive with the bus timetables today. However, trains and buses have become much less attractive due to the parallel D1 motorway .
Pruské station had been vacant for years.
