Balinka ( German Balingen ) is a Hungarian municipality in the Mór district in Fejér County . It is located on the edge of the Bakony Forest on the small river Gaja-patak , a good two kilometers west of Bodajk .
history
Balinka was first mentioned in writing in 1187. Hard coal mining took place in the community between 1842 and 2003 .

Road No. 8209 runs through the municipality. Passenger traffic on the railway line from Balinka to Bodajk was discontinued in 2009, so that train travelers have since then had to use the station in Bodajk, which is connected to the line from Székesfehérvár to Komárom .
