Baoshan ( 保山 市 , Bǎoshān Shì ) is a prefecture -level city in the Chinese province of Yunnan . Your administrative area has an area of ​​19,040 km² and approx. 2.6 million inhabitants (end of 2016). It is bordered to the east by Lincang City , to the north by the Nujiang Autonomous District of Lisu , to the northeast by the Dali Autonomous District of Bai , to the southwest by the Dehong Autonomous District of Dai and Jingpo, and to the south and northwest by Myanmar . The total length of the state border is 167.78 km.

Administrative structure

At the county level, Baoshan consists of a town district and four counties. These are:

• Longyang District (隆 阳 区), 5,011 km², 850,000 inhabitants;
• Shidian County (施甸 县), 2,009 km², 330,000 inhabitants, capital: Dianyang Municipality (甸 阳镇);
• District Tengchong (腾冲县), km² 5845, 610,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Tengyue (腾越镇);
• Longling district (龙陵县), 2,884 km², 270,000 inhabitants, capital: Longshan municipality (龙山镇);
• Changning district (昌 宁县), 3,888 km², 340,000 inhabitants, main town: Tianyuan municipality (田园 镇).
