The Barboure is a river in France that runs in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region . It rises in the municipal area of Naives-en-Blois , generally drains in a south-west to west direction and after 14 kilometers flows into the Ornain as a right tributary at the municipal boundary of Boviolles and Naix-aux-Forges . Immediately before its mouth, the Barboure passes under the Canal de la Marne au Rhin (western section).
