Bardhaman (also called Burdwan) is a division in the Indian state of West Bengal .

history

On January 1, 2002, the Medinipur District was divided into the two districts of Pashchim Medinipur and Purba Medinipur.
On April 7, 2017, the district of Bardhaman was divided into the districts of Pashchim Bardhaman and Purba Bardhaman . This is not yet taken into account in the table.
