Barry William Blenkhorn (born September 30, 1954 in Santa Monica , Los Angeles County , California ) is an American actor and singer . He became known to a wide audience through casts on various American television series. Especially his role as Greg Brady , which he played for the first time in the late 1960s, accompanied him into the 1990s. In 2019, his television series character Greg Brady was voted number three on the 100 Greatest Kid Stars Cast List of All Time.

Life

Williams grew up in close proximity to actor Peter Graves . He has been married to Tina Mahina since July 9, 2017. He was previously married from 1990 to 1992 and from January 30, 1999 to January 25, 2005. His second marriage has two children, a son and a daughter.

He had his first acting role in 1963 in the television series General Hospital . Several supporting roles followed in the late 1960s. From 1969 to 1974 he played the role of Greg Brady in a total of 117 episodes of the television series Three Girls and Three Boys . He played the same character in 17 episodes of the television series The Brady Kids in 1972 and in the television film The Brady Bunch Meets ABC's Saturday Superstars, which appeared in the same year . From 1976 to 1977 he appeared again as Greg Brady in the television series The Brady Bunch Variety Hour . In the television movie The Brady Girls Get Married , he repeated his performance as Greg Brady . He last played the character, now an adult and a PhD, in five episodes of the television series The Bradys in 1990.

In addition, Williams played in a number of American television series, but mostly only had one or two episode roles. In 2001 he played the character Dean Strickland in the television series S Club 7 in Hollywood in a total of 13 episodes . Later he was more often in low-budget films and B-movies like 2010 in Mega Piranha or 2012 in Bigfoot - The Legend Lives! to see.

Williams also works as a singer. In 1999 his album The Return Of Johnny Bravo was released .
