Lancer is an American western series that was produced between 1968 and 1970.

action

The focus of the action is the ranch of the rancher Murdoch Lancer in California in the 19th century . Family man and widower Lancer is faced with the difficult task of defending his herds against the forces of nature, bandits and cattle thieves, which is no longer easy for him in old age. He is supported by his two adult sons, Johnny and Scott from two marriages, as well as the adopted daughter Teresa O'Brien . Johnny is a hothead who prefers to shoot first and then ask questions, in complete contrast to his half-brother Scott , who attended college in Boston . Due to their fundamentally different character, there is always tension between the two. In the second season the cowboy Jelly Hoskins supports the Lancers.
