Paul Alden Brinegar (born December 19, 1917 in Tucumcari , New Mexico , † March 27, 1995 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor .

Life

Brinegar studied acting, literature, and the arts at Pasadena Junior College. He made his feature film debut in 1946 in a small supporting role without naming his name in the credits in the Western Bandits Without Mask alongside Randolph Scott , Edgar Buchanan and Lloyd Bridges . This was followed by a number of other subordinate film roles, in addition he began from the mid-1950s with appearances in television series. Among other things, he played the recurring role of Jim "Dog" Kelly in the western series Wyatt Earp intervenes from 1955 to 1958 .
