Minnesota State Routes 11 and 172 meet in Baudette and run as the main road through the city and then over the Rainy River International Bridge to Canada. All other roads are subordinate and partly unpaved roads as well as inner-city connecting roads.
A Canadian National Railway runs parallel to the MN 11 through the city and over another bridge to Canada.
