Bauné is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Loire-Authion with 1,733 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Baunéens .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Andard , Bauné , La Bohalle , Brain-sur-l'Authion , Corné , La Daguenière and Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire were merged into a Commune nouvelle called Loire-Authion. The municipality of Bauné belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Angers-7 (until 2015: canton Seiches-sur-le-Loir ).

Bauné is about 19 kilometers east-northeast of Angers .
