Beatrix of Andechs-Meranien

Beatrix von Andechs-Meranien (* 1210 ; † February 9, 1271 ) was a princess from the house of Andechs-Meranien and by marriage Countess of Orlamünde .

Beatrix was the daughter of Otto VII von Andechs-Meranien and Beatrix von Staufen , daughter of Count Palatine Otto and Margarete von Blois . She was heir to the rule of Plassenburg with Kulmbach and Mittelberg and the rule of Berneck with Goldkronach , Meinau, Wirsberg , Pretzendorf (today Himmelkron ), Zwernitz and Trebgast . She married Count Hermann II of Orlamünde .
