The Beber (also Pöhlder Bach ) is a flowing body of water in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony .

The 8 km long tributary of the Oder has its source about 2 km west of Bartolfelde , a district of Bad Lauterberg in the Harz Mountains . From there the Beber flows in a westerly direction and flows into the Oder about 2 km northwest of the core area of Pöhlde , a district of the city of Herzberg am Harz .
