Before Their Eyes is a Founded in 2006, Christian post-hardcore band from Findlay ( Ohio ). The name of the band comes from a psalm that Paul quotes in his letter to the Romans ( Ps 36.1 ESV ; Rom 3.18 ESV ): "There is no fear of God before their eyes."
history
Before Their Eyes was founded in 2006 by singer Nick Moore in Findlay, Ohio. The group's first permanent line-up included Moore, lead guitarist Brenden Zapp, drummer Jarred Hottman, bassist Anthony Damschroder and rhythm guitarist Cory Ridenour.
On May 15, 2007, the debut album of the same name was released on Rise Records , which was produced by Joey Sturgis . In the same year singer Nick Moore founded the record company StandBy Records , which he later sold on. The follow-up album The Dawn of My Death , released in October 2008, was also released on Rise Records. The band had to struggle with further line-up changes. The most famous musician who was active in Before Their Eyes is lead guitarist Elliott Gruenberg . He has played with Blessthefall for several years and played with Before Their Eyes between 2008 and 2010. He can be heard as guitarist on the third album Untouchable , which was released on March 9, 2010. It is the only album by the band that Gruenberg was actively involved in.
Moore founded his second music label InVogue Records two years after StandBy Records in Findlay . The band released their fourth album Redemption in March 2012 through this label . Since 2013, the group has consisted of singer Nick Moore, bassist Anthony Damschroder, drummer Jarred Hottman, lead guitarist Jordan Disorbo and rhythm guitarist Brandon Rosiar. Hottman played in the band between 2006 and 2011, but has since been replaced by Zach Baird and has been back in the group since 2013. The fifth album II has been announced for 2014 , to be produced by Tom Denney .
In their musical career, the group has completed several tours that took place exclusively in North America. Before Their Eyes was part of the line-up for the Warped Tour in 2011. The band also completed concert tours with Silverstein , Blessthefall , A Skylit Drive , Escape the Fate , Saosin , Forever the Sickest Kids and Eyes Set to Kill .
