Bellahn is a district of the municipality of Zernien in the joint municipality of Elbtalaue , which is part of the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony . The village is about four kilometers east of the core area of Zernien.
history
The first written mention of the place is for the year 1360 in the Lüneburg Lehnsregister with the spelling Bellan . The place name goes back to the name of the former residents. On July 1, 1972, Bellahn was incorporated into the parish of Zernien.
