Johann Conrad Zimmer

Johann Conrad Zimmer (born October 30, 1817 in Villingen ; † May 26, 1898 in Cyriaxweimar ) was a Hessian politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johann Conrad Zimmer was the son of the farmer, innkeeper and linen weaver Johannes Zimmer and his wife Anna Maria, née Schad. Zimmer, who was of Protestant faith, was mayor of Villingen from 1853 to 1884 and married Anna Katharina nee Schäfer.

From 1866 to 1872 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 8 / Schotten . In the estates he represented liberal-conservative positions.
