Heinrich Fresenius (politician)

Heinrich Christian Carl Fresenius (born December 6, 1785 in Schlitz ; † December 30, 1846 in Schotten ) was a Hessian politician and former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

family

Heinrich Fresenius was the son of the Protestant pastor Friedrich Anton Fresenius (1745-1815) and his wife Juliana Karolina Friederika, née Becker (1756-1817). He married twice. His second wife was Johanette nee Weitz (1786–1845)

education and profession

Heinrich Fresenius became economic commissioner in Gießen , in 1822 real tax commissioner 1st class and in 1825 tax commissioner in Schotten. In 1833 he was an extraordinary member of the district school commission of the Nidda district .

politics

From 1834 to 1846 Heinrich Fresenius was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. He was initially elected as the successor to Eduard Seitz in the constituency of Upper Hesse 7 / Schotten . In parliament he took conservative positions.
