Reddien is a district of the municipality of Zernien in the joint municipality of Elbtalaue , which belongs to the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony . The village is about two kilometers west of the core area of Zernien.
history
The place was first mentioned in the Lüneburg Lehnsregister in 1330 as Reddinghe , then in 1352 as Redeve .
On July 1, 1972, the formerly independent municipality of Reddien from the district of Uelzen was incorporated into the municipality of Zernien.
