Fließau is a district of the municipality of Zernien in the integrated municipality of Elbtalaue , which is part of the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony . The village is four kilometers southeast of the core area of Zernien.
history
The first documentary mention can be found in the Lüneburg treasury for the year 1450 under the name Flizauw , in Slavic meaning "place near a bald spot".
On July 1, 1972, Fließau was incorporated into the municipality of Zernien.
