The area Bella Monter Rottum with Krummbach slope is a designated by ordinance of 19 March 1999 the conservation area in the Baden-Württemberg district Biberach (LSG number 4.26.043) in Germany .

location

The around 182 hectare (ha) large protected area "Bellamonter Rottum mit Krummbachhang" belongs to the natural areas Riß-Aitrach-Platten and Holzstocks . It is located in the area of the city of Ochsenhausen (160.4615 ha = 88.25%) and the municipality of Steinhausen an der Rottum (21.3682 ha = 11.75%) and extends along the valley area of the Bellamonter Rottum and its lateral ravines , slopes and the Krummbachhang .

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is the preservation of a "thanks to the topography and the abundant water balance still relatively near-natural meadow valley with wet and wet meadows, meandering stream and adjoining alluvial forest, as well as dry and warm steep slope areas, but also the local biodiversity of flora and fauna."

Contiguous protected areas
