The FFH area Rot, Bellamonter Rottum and Dürnach in Baden-Württemberg was designated in 2005 by the Tübingen Regional Council.

location

The 844 hectare protected area Rot, Bellamonter Rottum and Dürnach is located in the natural areas Riß-Aitrach-Platten , Holzstocks and hill country of the lower Riß . The district of Tübingen with the communities Achstetten , Berkheim , Biberach an der Riß , Burgrieden , Erolzheim , Gutenzell-Hürbel , Kirchdorf an der Iller , Laupheim , Maselheim , Mietingen , Ochsenhausen , Rot an der Rot , have 67% of the area in the area . Schwendi and Steinhausen an der Rottum , with 4% the district of Ravensburg with the municipality of Bad Wurzach , and with 1.4% the Alb-Danube district with the municipality of Erbach . It essentially comprises the water courses of Rot , Bellamonter Rottum and Dürnach . The area consists of 13 sub-areas.
