The FFH area wetland complexes north of Isny is located in the southeast of Baden-Württemberg and is part of the European Natura 2000 network of protected areas . It was designated in 2005 by the Tübingen regional council.

location

The approximately 606 hectares large reserve wetland complex north Isny lies in the natural spaces crack Aitrach plates and Westallgäuer hills . Its six sub-areas are located in the communities of Argenbühl , Isny im Allgäu and Leutkirch im Allgäu in the Ravensburg district.

description

The nature of the landscape of the protected area essentially corresponds to a pre-alpine, Worm Ice Age ground moraine landscape with numerous moraine walls and muddy dead ice holes.
