The FFH area Federsee and Blinder See near Kanzach is located in the east of Baden-Württemberg and is part of the European Natura 2000 network of protected areas . It was designated in 2005 by the Tübingen regional council.

location

The approximately 2,839 hectare protected area Federsee and Blinder See near Kanzach is located in the natural areas of Donau-Ablach-Platten and Riß-Aitrach-Platten . The four sub-areas are located in the communities of Alleshausen , Bad Buchau , Bad Schussenried , Betzenweiler , Kanzach , Moosburg , Oggelshausen , Riedlingen , Seekirch , Tiefenbach and Uttenweiler in the Biberach district .

The nature of the landscape of the protected area is essentially determined by the moored Federsee basin, with the Federsee at its center .
