Benedikt Kastner (born December 28, 1986 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing for TSV Farchant since 2016 .

Career

Kastner first played for SC Riessersee in the German junior league , before he went on the ice for the first time for the first team of his home club in the major league in the 2004/05 season . After he had made promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with SC Riessersee in the 2006/07 season , he switched to Moskitos Essen . After the bankruptcy of Moskitos in summer 2008, he moved back to his home country for SC Riessersee, for which he played in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2009/09 season. But after only one season he left the SCR again and switched back to the Mosquitos in Essen in the regional league for family reasons . With the mosquitoes he celebrated the regional league championship and promotion to the league in 2010.

In the 2011/12 season he plays for EHC Dortmund .
In May 2012 his move back to his hometown club, SC Riessersee, was announced together with teammate Sebastian Eickmann .
