Beni Altmüller
Beni Altmüller (born May 26, 1952 in Linz ) is an Austrian artist. He works with various media and materials in applied and free areas of art.
Life
Beni Altmüller grew up with his grandparents in the workshop of a cooperage . He attended the HTL Steyr . He then studied at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz and graduated in 1977 with Helmuth Gsöllpointner . From 1978 to 1995 he worked with Gerhard Bogner in the Altmüller-Bogner studio. Occupation with interior design, entertainment design, communication jewelry and architecture . From 1983 to 1985 he was artistic director and manager of the Posthof Zeitkultur at the port in Linz. He has two children and lives in Linz and Piedmont .

Altmüller's pictures show a mixture of abstract and representational painting. Ribbons of color, executed as expressive - impulsive brush strokes, as well as perspective painted patterns and wallpaper-like backgrounds serve as abstract elements . Tilting perspectives create a dream-like impression.
