Benjamin Kramme

Benjamin Kramme (born February 7, 1982 in Weimar ) is a German actor , radio play speaker, screenwriter and director.

Life

Benjamin Kramme made his acting debut in 2002 at the German National Theater in Frank Wedekind's play Spring Awakening . From 2004 to 2008 he completed an acting course at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf" . After completing his studies, he stood in front of the camera for a variety of film and television productions, worked as a radio play speaker and played theater, including at the Berliner Ensemble, the Hans Otto Theater Potsdam, the Volkstheater Rostock and at the Bad Hersfeld Festival.

In the Erfurt crime scene , he played the chief inspector Maik Schaffert at the side of Friedrich Mücke and Alina Levshin . The first case was broadcast on November 3, 2013, the second on December 21, 2014. In January 2015, his two colleagues decided to step out of the series due to the bad reviews, whereupon the MDR decided to completely stop the Erfurt crime scene.

Benjamin Kramme has been working as a radio play speaker for Deutschlandradio Kultur and other broadcasters since 2005.

Julia von Heinz's film Was am Ende Counts , in which Benjamin Kramme played a leading role, won the 2009 German Film Prize “Lola” as the best children's and youth film. The feature film Gundermann (2018), in which he played the role of Wenni , was awarded a total of six “Lolas” at the German Film Prize in 2019.

In 2018 he made his directorial debut with the two short films Roxy Wunschkind and Alternatives . In 2019, the film Alternatives won, among other things, the short film beaver at the Biberach Film Festival , the short film award of the Lünen Kinofest , and the audience award of the Bamberg Short Film Festival .
