Benjamin Kratz
Friedrich Benjamin Kratz (born December 2, 1829 in Braunschweig , † January 14, 1869 in Eberswalde ) was a German genre and portrait painter from the Düsseldorf School .
Life
Kratz attended the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 1850 to 1852 . There were Theodor Hildebrandt , Christian Köhler and Heinrich Mücke his teachers. He later became a private student of Christian Eduard Böttcher . Kratz died in the sanatorium in Neustadt-Eberswalde near Berlin in 1869 .
