Berghaus was a location in the north of the Bergisch city of Wuppertal . The residential area fell into desolation at the end of the first quarter of the 20th century.
Location and description
The location was at an altitude of 238 m above sea level. NN in the south of the Eckbusch residential area in the Uellendahl-Katernberg district . Neighboring locations are Theisbruch , Hixter , Zum Löh , Am Rohm , Lipkenskothen , Melandersbruch , Am Hagen , König , the Katernberg riding center , Klotzbahn , Naurathssiepen and the Eckbusch settlement center . The neighboring Lipkens Katernberg and Ringelbusch have also gone .
history
The settlement area was on the border between the city of Elberfeld and the municipality of Oberdüssel belonging to the Wülfrath mayor . The place was last recorded on the 1907 edition of the Elberfeld measurement table ; the 1927 edition was no longer shown.
