Berjosowy ( Russian Берёзовый ) is a settlement (possjolok) in the Khabarovsk region ( Russia ) with 5498 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The place is good 350 km in a straight line north of the region administrative center of Khabarovsk on the left Uder the Amur -Nebenflusses Amgun , at the foot of the place well, 1600 m high north-eastern foothills of the Dusse-Alin -Gebirges, part of Burejagebirges .
Berjosowy belongs to the Solnetschny Rajon and is about 125 km to the northwest from its administrative seat Solnetschny . It is the seat of the rural community Beryozovskoye selskoje posselenije, which includes the village of Beryosovy and the village of Tavlinka.
history
The place was founded in 1962 as a forest workers' settlement of the forest enterprise (Lespromchos) Gorin (90 km southeast), later Amgun (50 km southwest). In the mid-1970s, the Baikal-Amur-Magistrale (BAM) was led past the site, where the large forest enterprise Sredneamgunski lespromchos was established and Berjosowy became a regular rural settlement. The name is derived from the Russian berjosa for birch .

In the Berjosowy is after the Soviet politician Pawel Postyshev (1887-1939) called station Postyschewo at kilometer 3615 (from Taischet ) of the Baikal Amur Mainline that crosses the Amgun below the settlement. The railway line is followed by a road to the city of Komsomolsk on the Amur , a good 150 km to the southeast, and up the Amgun in the opposite direction. In a northerly direction, a dirt road runs to the neighboring district center Selo imeni Poliny Ossipenko and further as a winter track to Tugur and Tschumikan on the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk .
