Bernadette Arnoldner (* 1. February 1978 as Bernadette Stumpner in Hellmonsödt ) is an Austrian nutritionist , product manager and county politician ( ÖVP ) in the Viennese district Liesing . Since December 19, 2017, Arnoldner has been the regional managing director of ÖVP Vienna.

Life

Bernadette Arnoldner grew up in Hellmonsödt in the Mühlviertel as the first of three children in a teacher's family. After graduating from the Adalbert-Stifter-Gymnasium in Linz in 1996 , she moved to Vienna to study nutritional sciences at the University of Vienna . During her studies, Bernadette Arnoldner worked on a development project in Costa Rica and as a team leader in social marketing for various non-governmental organizations . Career

After graduating, she worked for various companies in the food industry (including Danone , Berglandmilch and NÖM ), where she was mainly responsible for product development and marketing .

In 2007 she moved to the Dutch-British group Unilever . There she began her professional career with a two-year stay in Switzerland before returning to Vienna. politics

Bernadette Arnoldner has been politically active for the ÖVP in Liesingen's district policy since 2009. From 2012 to 2015 she was a district councilor in the Liesing district council and has been deputy chairwoman of the ÖVP Liesing since 2016 . Since 2014 she has also been involved with the ÖVP women in Vienna. In 2017 she was elected financial advisor to the Austrian Family Association and a member of the board of the city academy.

In the 2017 National Council election campaign , she ran behind Wolfgang Gerstl in second place on the ÖVP's Vienna-South-West regional constituency list . Her main concerns were women, family and work, and health.

Private

She has been married to Thomas Arnoldner since 2009 and is the mother of two children. She lives with her family in Vienna-Mauer. Bernadette Arnoldner does sports (running, mountaineering) in her free time and enjoys cooking.
