Bernhard Friedrich Behrens (born February 6, 1847 in Middelswarfen , Oldenburg , † September 12, 1931 in Niederpoyritz ) was a German businessman , councilor and conservative politician .

After attending grammar school in Jever , Behrens trained as a businessman and then worked as a businessman in various cities in Germany. From 1875 he ran the Bernh company in Dresden . Behrens, manufactured goods and fashion goods including a ready-to-wear women's fashion shop. Around 1896 he sold this to Alfred W. Lewenstein, who called it Bernh. Behrens Nachf. Continued. In October 1896, Behrens moved to Oberlößnitz in today's Lößnitzgrundstraße 4 (formerly Grundstraße 4, Villa Jever ), where he ran his other shops , just like in Kötzschenbroda .
