Bernhard Gröschel (born June 19, 1939 in Haida , Northern Bohemia , † October 4, 2009 in Münster ) was a German linguist and Slavist .

Life

Bernhard Gröschel studied Slavic Studies, General Linguistics as well as Communication Research and Phonetics at the University of Bonn and received his doctorate there in 1967. He worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the Institute for Linguistics and at the Institute for Communication Research at the University of Bonn 1967–1976, 1977–2004 in the same position on Institute for General Linguistics at the University of Münster . Gröschel published on general linguistics, communication studies and Slavic studies ( Ukrainian , Russian , Serbo-Croatian ).
