Bernhard Müller-Schoenau

Bernhard Müller-Schoenau (born May 27, 1925 in Berlin ; † June 10, 2003 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Bernhard Müller-Schoenau attended a grammar school and passed the Abitur . He had to do the Reich Labor Service , was then drafted by the Wehrmacht and became a prisoner of war . After the Second World War he studied economics in Berlin and at Syracuse University ( USA ). In 1950 he became editor of the daily newspapers “ Die Neue Zeitung ”, “ Der Tag ” and “ Der Kurier ”. He was also an editor for the radio station RIAS .

In the Berlin election in 1950 , Müller-Schoenau was elected to the District Assembly (BVV) in the Steglitz district. In the 1958 election he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives. Since the previous district councilor Wilhelm Grobecker died in December 1960, BVV Steglitz elected Müller-Schoenau as the new city councilor for economics in February 1961, so he left parliament. In 1973 he became the office manager of the state chairman Peter Lorenz and two years later the press spokesman for the CDU Berlin . After the 1975 election, Müller-Schoenau moved again through the re- election in February 1976 in the constituency in the Zehlendorf district in the Berlin House of Representatives and resigned in March 1979.
