Bernhard Pötter (2017)

Bernhard Pötter (* 1965 ) is a German journalist and author. Since 1993 he has been working for the daily newspaper (taz) in Berlin . He also writes for Spiegel Online . In the meantime he worked as a freelance journalist in Paris . Bernhard Pötter studied American studies , politics and law at the Free University of Berlin and in Bloomington ( Indiana / USA ) . He then completed a journalism training onInstitute for the Promotion of Young Journalists .

In his journalistic career, he has worked for the following media, among others: Brigitte , Das Wort, Der Standard , Der Freitag , WOZ Die Wochenzeitung , Die Zeit , Geo , New Scientist , Neue Zürcher Zeitung and profil .

The focus of his work is on energy , climate and environmental policy , but also on topics such as church, children and consumption . In addition, Pötter writes the humorous taz column We save the world every week .
