Bernreit is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rohrbach an der Gölsen in the Lilienfeld district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 42 building areas with 22,661 m² and 34 gardens on 71,130 m² in the cadastral community of Bernreit , in 1989/1990 there were 64 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 250 and in 2009/2010 there were 120 buildings on 238 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 116 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 18 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 108 hectares and 19 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 103 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 21 hectares. The average soil climate number of Bernreit is 32.7 (as of 2010).
